Level 2 Award For Security Guards Refresher
Course Information:
This course is tailored to those looking to work in environments such as Retail, Hospitality, Concierge and Stadium work.
In this course you will cover 1 module:
- Principles Of Working As A Security Guard In The Private Security Industry:
This will be assessed with a 60 mark MCQ exam and includes the basics that all Security Officers should know before working in the security industry.
Course requirements
Please see below a short list of prerequisites that must be in place in order to attend the course:
- A basic emergency first aid at work qualification (or equivalent) with at least 12 months of validity remaining by the start of the course.
- The ability to speak, write and read English at a basic level.

Failure to comply with the course requirements may result in you being sent home and a re-booking fee may apply.
If you do not currently possess a first aid at work qualification you will be required to attend the first half of day one of the course in order to attain this, please see the course cost for more details.
All candidates will be required to take part in a basic English reading, writing and speaking assessment on day one of the course, this is a pass or fail assessment so please ensure basic understanding and competency before continuing with the course.
Some of your coursework will be completed on your mobile phones however you may wish to take some notes during the course, please bring a phone charger, notepad and pen should you wish.
